The festival team is really proud and excited to present the official poster for this year’s 8th Angkor Photo Festival!
It features a photo by Japanese photographer Ai Takahashi, from her series Yama Mura Nora. Seeking out people living in are small, rural farming communities known as ‘inaka’, she writes: “Life in these rural villages, rooted in the community members’ sense of responsibility for place, provides an abundance that I find prescient.“
Ai Takahashi’s work will be shown as part of a Labyrinth, a group exhibition by Tanto Tempo Gallery from Kobe Japan. (Venue: McDermott Gallery, Old Market. Dates: Dec 1, 2012 – Jan 2, 2013)
With only 21 days to go before the festival begins, stay tuned for lots of updates in the days to come!
