2025 EXHIBITIONS
20th Edition ProgrammeOur 2025 Festival Exhibitions Programme is proud to present seven exhibitions to be on display at various venues in Siem Reap. The exhibitions will showcase the work of 60 photographers from 19 countries, and are all free and open to the public.
On show for the first time in Cambodia, ‘Hidden’ is a result of a long-term dialog between Charles Fox and Prum Sisaphantha and the journey she made through the Khmer Rouge (1975 -1979) landscape carrying over 90 family photographs. Also from Cambodia, “Don’t Look Away” presents work by independent media professionals exploring Cambodia’s growing environmental crisis and the fight to protect its natural wonders.
Dennese Victoria’s curation brings together 23 photographers in an act of tenderness, culminating in the show “Look After Each Other“. Examining the resilience and resistance of youths in Myanmar, Ta Mwe’s “Flowers of Spring” pays homage to their inked commitment to freedom and democracy.
A testament to the collaborative nature of our event, two of the exhibitions are presented by photography collectives. ‘I See the News; I think of You‘ by 8.30 Collective showcases nine women photographers from India exploring different visual strategies to narrate their experiences in India’s current political moment. From the heart of the eastern Himalayan region, The Confluence Collective puts forth a collection of work by eight of their members to question the notion of ‘Home‘ and what it means to truly belong.
Sprawling the gardens of Chocolate Garden, “Beyond the Silence” is a collaborative photography project organized by Magnum Photos in partnership with Odesa Photo Days Festival, with the support of the Open Society Foundations and the Ukrainian Institute. Bringing together photographers from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nigeria, and Myanmar, the project explores the unseen global ripple effects of conflict, using visual storytelling to examine themes of territory, violence, and resilience.
We thank our exhibition venue partners, sponsors and supporters for helping bring these exhibitions to life.
