We are pleased to announce our partnership with the non-profit ADAGP (Société des artistes dans les arts graphiques et plastiques), a French royalty collecting and distribution society in the field of graphic and visual arts which is now one of the biggest collecting societies in the world.
We are grateful for the support of ADAGP’s Cultural Actions, which in addition to playing a cultural role by funding projects that raise the profile of visual arts and promotes them with the international public, also provides a contribution to support the continuing development of artists.
Photographers, discover ADAGP!
Focus on your priority: your collective rights
Created in 1953 by artists, ADAGP is today supported by a global network of almost 50 sister companies and represents more than 130,000 artists in all disciplines of visual arts such as photography, painting, sculpting, architecture, design, comic strips, manga, illustrations, street art and video art.
ADAGP manages all the property rights held by artists (resale rights, reproduction rights, right of public communication, collective rights) for all modes of use including books, media, advertising, merchandising, auctions, gallery sales, television, video-on-demand, websites and user-sharing platforms.
More than 62,000 photographers from around the world are represented by ADAGP, which helps collect and distribute their royalties and rights, playing a vital role in strengthening authors’ rights worldwide.
Subscribing to an authors’ rights association is the only way to receive the collective rights due to you from private digital copying, reprography, cable broadcasts, public lending etc. You can also receive royalties if your original photographic prints are resold (droit de suite).
Membership costs only €15.24 with no annual contribution, and ADAGP’s management fees are 10% for collective rights.
Join ADAGP and get your fair dues.
