Soun Sayon is on construction sites everyday, and his work leads him to be permanently in relationship with the construction workers. Thus he decided to make their portraits by having them pose with their tools, which designate their specialty. As the digital image is everywhere he decided to work with Polaroids and also black and white film to avoid any anecdote that could give color and to demonstrate his attachment to photography. His classical, frontal portraits, attentive to the light, highlight the looks and bring him close to the workers he meets and allow him to better know and understand them.
