The 9th Angkor Photo Festival is proud to have with us the Asia-Pacific Photobook Archive this year! The APPA will be setting up a cozy library at the Festival and Workshop Center this year, bringing along with them a great collection of photo books from their libraries. Come join us at The Loft, grab a drink, and settle in a comfy chair with a photo book (just don’t spill anything!).
We welcome all photographers you to add your books to the growing archive of the APPA – submit your work in book format and have it become part of photographic history, seen around the world, saved for posterity.
The criteria for submission is simple. The APPA accepts all material produced by photographers/artists/publishers/galleries/collectives born or based in the Asia-Pacific region, or materials containing work produced in or thematically connected to the Asia-Pacific region.
Books published in any Asia-Pacific language will be accepted. Anyone may submit work to the archive. All photo-books that meet the criteria above will be accepted into the archive.
[fbshare url=”https://www.facebook.com/photobookarchive” type=”icon” float=”left”] The Asia-Pacific Photobook Archive (APPA) is a not-for-profit open-access physical archive of self-published and independent photo books. The APPA is a response to the boom in photographic self-publishing globally and is established to provide a ‘real’ way to see photobooks that would otherwise only be viewable online. The focus of the APPA is the Asia-Pacific region.
How to submit: Post it to the following address:
