Glory!: The Fight For Ukraine’s East
USA www.johnwendle.com
Bit by bit, Ukraine lost pieces of itself last year. First it lost its pro-Russian president, then it lost Crimea, then it lost its two eastern provinces. Some say its identity has been lost as well. By May 2014, people in the east were sharply divided between those who supported Ukraine and those who supported Russia. The only thing everyone agreed on was that the common person suffers during war at the hands of the rich and mighty, that everyone wanted the war to end soon and that the “other side” was to blame. This is a history of the suffering meted out by both sides and of the civilians caught in the middle.
