2013 – ongoing
Tokyo and its close area, Japan
I moved to Tokyo 4 years ago and started working for office. At first I was surprised at many people especially in commuting time. Then I was shocked at office workers’ movement. No one tell them to do so, but they walk at same pace and keep some distance with others. Lines come up simultaneously in many places every morning. They are very quiet and no one talk each other. But they move like one line and each individual looks like factors of the line. They walk like that unconsciously. These landscapes represent silent but strong pressure to adjust themselves to the whole society.
