My work explores gender，body image and identification.
Gender is representation of sex symbols. And there’s a battle between body and symbols.
Trans-genders often represent themselves with strong sex symbols.  My subject Miko wears long hair, lipsticks and high-heels. Eventually, he decided to become a “real” woman through surgery. So he had a breast job in a private clinic in March this year.
By the completion of the sex surgery, does it mean that body has lost the war to symbols?
