When Denis Dailleux first discovered Ghana it left an incredible impression on him and he promised himself that one day he would go and photograph Ghana. It is not however a country so easily tamed, and he had to go there many times. During his last trip, he found that his stubbornness paid off. He discovered a village at the foot of Lake Volta where he encountered the most beautiful people. It was there that he took portraits of a village idiot, of the children, and of a group of fishermen.
