It’s that time of the year again, and we are pleased to announce the kick-off of the 10th Anjali Photo Workshops. All the tutors met up with their groups last week, and the first sessions are already underway. This year, the children will be going to various places all over Siem Reap, such as the Butterfly Garden, neighbouring villages, the local landfill, Wat Athvea, Bakong Temple, Angkor Wat, Wat Damnak, and there is a special swimming excursion planned for this Friday at West Baray.

Children’s Day is scheduled for December 3 this year. We are really excited to welcome all the kids from Anjali House at Shinta Mani Resort for a full afternoon of fun performances by Phare circus, food and refreshments, a special kid’s edition of projections curated by Françoise Callier, and of course, the moment everyone is waiting for: the screening of the children’s work!

We would like to extend our gratitude to our long-time partner, Canon iQlick, for their generous loan of Canon Powershot A2500 and Canon EOS1100D cameras for the children to use during the workshops.

Canon iQlick is organizing a number of different activities during the festival week, so keep your eyes peeled.
