We are very happy to announce the five finalists of the inaugural Reminders Project Asian Photographers Grant.
Selected by our jury panel from submissions received from all over Asia, these five finalists will have their work showcased at the upcoming 7th Angkor Photo Festival, which will be held from November 19 to 26, 2011, in Siem Reap, Cambodia. (Have you seen this year’s program preview yet?)
The winner of the grant will be announced during the festival, and will receive financial support of US$3,000 for his/her winning project. The project will also be shown next year at the 8th Angkor Photo Festival.

The grant is a collaboration between the Reminders Project and the Angkor Photo Festival. It seeks to support Asian photographers working in Asia on in-depth photography projects, who aim to make a positive impact on the community through their work.
In the following weeks, we will be showcasing each finalist and his/her project on the Invisible Photographer Asia – the official media partner of the grant.
