The 10th Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops is now calling for applications to its professional workshops programme.
The Angkor Photo Workshops is an annual tuition-free professional workshop aimed at nurturing emerging talent from Asia. Each year, 30 participants are selected from across the region to join us in Siem Reap, Cambodia, where they are provided first-hand training and invaluable one-on-one guidance by international professional photographers.
Participants are expected to complete one photo story during the workshops, and will be guided by their tutors through all stages – from conceptualizing and forming story ideas, to improving their photography technique, and the final, important step of picture editing. We believe in diversity and originality, and we want you to develop your own unique photographic style and vision as you hone your visual storytelling skills.
As we mark our 10th anniversary, we are pleased to announce important changes to our eligibility criteria. We are now lifting the age restriction for the workshops. After almost a decade, we believe this is a necessary update that will allow us to maintain the quality of the workshops.
